How to create and use a keyboard shortcut for Emoji in Office apps on Windows 11/10?

How to build a keyboard shortcut for Emoji in Office apps?

Step 1. Open an MS Word document on your computer and then click on the Insert tab. Next, click on the Symbol option and then select More Symbols.

Step 2. Now, you will see a Symbol window opens up. Under the Symbols tab, select Segoe UI Emoji from the Fonts drop-down.

Step 3. Now, scroll down to see Windows emojis and select your desired emoji. Then, click on the AutoCorrect button. AutoCorrect pop-up window will open. Here, navigate to the AutoCorrect tab. In the Replace field, type a random set of characters (letters/digits) according to your choice. Click the Add and then OK button. Now, close the Symbol window.

That’s it. You have done. Open your word document and place the cursor where you want to insert the Emoji. Then, type the random letters or digits which you have assigned in the above steps and then press the spacebar from the keyboard to display the Emoji.
