Conclusion

In conclusion, if you are looking for a way to quickly access your favorite files and folders on Windows 10 or 11, creating a toolbar on the Taskbar is a useful solution. However, Windows 11 does not offer this feature, and the built-in options do not allow for customization. Thankfully, third-party tools like DockFolders can fill this gap. With DockFolders, you can easily create your own toolbar and add your desired folders and files to it. The application is highly customizable, allowing you to set hotkeys, enable sound, and integrate it with the right-click menu. While it is still in beta, DockFolders may be an excellent alternative to launch files and folders to a custom toolbar, making it easier for you to navigate your files and folders from the Windows Taskbar.
