How to Pin Recycle Bin to Windows 11 Taskbar?

Right-clicking an app or program, Windows 11 allows you to pin or unpin it to the taskbar. That means you can add your favorite program to Windows 11 Taskbar for easy access. In other words, we can say that you can launch your favorite application or program from the taskbar itself while working on any other document or watching videos. There is no need to minimize your running applications or programs to open your favorite program if you have already pinned them to the taskbar. Step 3. Now, click on the Next button to proceed further.

Step 4. Name the shortcut Recycle Bin, and then click the Finish button to see the shortcut icon of Recycle Bin on your PC’s desktop.

Step 5. The shortcut icon of Recycle Bin appears like the File Explorer icon. To change the icon, right-click on the Shortcut icon you have created and select the Properties option.

Step 6. On the Recycle Bin Properties dialog box, click on the Change Icon button.

Step 7. Select your desired icon for the Recycle Bin from here, and then click the OK button. Alternatively, if you have stored an icon (.ico) file on your PC, you can select them.

Step 8. Now, Recycle Bin icon will be changed.

Step 9. Here magic works. Windows 11 allows you to Pin the shortcuts item to the taskbar. So, right-click on the Recycle Bin shortcut icon on the desktop and then click on the Show more options.

Step 10. Now, select the Pin to taskbar option from the context menu.

Finally, you should see the Recycle bin on Windows 11 Taskbar. By clicking on Recycle Bin icon on the Taskbar, you can open it.
