The dark mode is prevalent, and you can turn it on Gmail or even on Chrome if you want. Dark mode keeps your eye’s healthy if you work in low-light environments. Unfortunately, Gmail does not offer dark mode yet, but yes Dark theme is available to help you.
How to Enable Gmail Dark Mode?
To enable Gmail dark mode, do the following:-

Unlike Gmail, Google’s Chrome browser does not feature a built-in dark mode. To enable the dark mode, you need to install an extension that lets you enable dark mode for any web page, including Gmail.
