This video will guide you on fixing the “System cooling policy” that is missing on Windows 11 or 10 Power Options. If you don't know what is “System cooling policy,” it keeps your PC cool and stops overheating. To restore the missing “System cooling policy” option on Windows 11 or 10 Power Options window, first, open an elevated Command Prompt window. To do that, click on the Start button and then type CMD. In the search results, right-click on the Command Prompt entry and choose the Run as administrator option. In the elevated command prompt window, copy and paste the following and press Enter key on the keyboard:- REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\94D3A615-A899-4AC5-AE2B-E4D8F634367F /v Attributes /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f Please note, you can copy the above command from this video description.
