How to automatically save MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint files every minute?

Microsoft Office is a decent program and lifesaver. Most of us use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for our office work. If your computer crashes because of any reason, it is better to save the file in the background automatically. Changing the Setting of Word, Excel & PowerPoint to save files every few minutes can be a real lifesaver. After rebooting your computer, you will be able to recover the full document without any third-party tool.

In the latest MS Office program, there is a feature AutoRecover. The AutoRecover feature automatically saves the opened document in the background, and you will not see any message or notification on the screen. When you will reboot your PC after a crash and launch the same Office program after a crash, the program offers you to restore the file, which was automatically saved by the AutoRecover feature of MS Office. However, with the default settings, the AutoRecover feature saves files in 10 minutes intervals, which means after every 10 minutes.

Suppose you have started your work on MS Word and you did not save the file (you can use shortcut keys Ctrl + S to save your opened document at any time). Your PC crashed before 10 minutes, and you will lose your data as the AutoRecover feature works in every 10 minutes intervals. To reduce the risk of data loss, you can configure the program to save opened documents every 1 minute automatically. Now, the program will keep saving your data every 1-minute frequency.

This autosave feature is available in MS Office Word, Excel, and even PowerPoint. However, you have to configure each program separately.
