Step 1. To hide the desktop icons from the Windows 11 Desktop, right-click on free space on the desktop, select View, and then uncheck the option Show desktop icons.

Step 2. Once you want to show the desktop icons, right-click on the free space on the desktop, select View, and then Show desktop icons.

Step 3. To resize the desktop icons, three default options are available:-

  • Large icons
  • Medium icons
  • Small icons

To select any of these default sizes, right-click on the blank space on the desktop. Now select the View option and then Large icons, Medium icons, or Small icons.

By default, Windows 11 uses Medium icons for desktop items. If you want to see bigger icons, select “Large icons.” For tiny icons, you can select the “Small icons” option.
