- Works on Windows 11 and Windows 10.
- Multi-size ICO for sharp results on any view (Small → Extra large icons).

- If an icon “looks small,” switch File Explorer to Large or Extra large icons.
- If Windows caches the old look, refresh the icon cache or sign out/in.
- PNG is great for design; use ICO for Windows folder customization.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on Windows 10 as well as Windows 11?
Yes. The exported ICO contains multiple PNG sizes (16–256 px), which Windows 10 and 11 both support. Just apply it via Properties → Customize → Change Icon…
Why does my icon look blurry or too small?
Switch the folder view to a larger size in File Explorer. On high-DPI displays, Windows picks the 256-px entry and scales it cleanly. If the old cache persists, refresh the icon cache or sign out/in.
Does the tool upload my files?
No. It’s fully client-side — everything stays in your browser tab.
Can I use a photo or logo as a folder icon?
Yes. Convert it to ICO first with the Image to ICO Converter, then apply it to a folder via Properties → Customize → Change Icon…
How can I preview website favicons and app icons?
Use our Favicon Preview to test ICO/PNG/SVG across tab and bookmark views, or inspect multi-size ICO contents with the ICO Previewer.
