Burner

A burner, also known as a CD or DVD burner, is a device that is used to create, or “burn,” data onto a blank CD or DVD. Burners are commonly found in personal computers and can be used to create backups of important data, music, movies, or other digital media. Burners typically work by using a laser to etch the data onto the surface of the disc, allowing it to be read by a CD or DVD player. In addition to burning data onto discs, many burners can also be used to read or play CDs and DVDs. Burners can be internal or external devices, with external burners connecting to a computer via USB or other interfaces. Some burners are also capable of burning Blu-ray discs, which have a higher storage capacity than traditional CDs and DVDs. Burner software is often included with the burner device or can be downloaded separately and provides a user-friendly interface for creating and burning discs.
